Range: Western Indian Ocean: Chagos Archipelago.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabit seaward reef areas, yet occasionally found in lagoons on reef tops at 30 to 80 foot (10 - 25 m) depths

General Husbandry: Not purposely collected for the trade, and not much is known about its biology. Has a dark orange to dark brown body with two white bands and yellow dorsal, pelvic, pectoral, anal, and tail fins.
