Range: Western Indian Ocean: Arabian Gulf from Kuwait to Musandam.

Size: 5 inches (14 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits silty and rubble covered bottom areas and usually found at depths between 30 – 50 feet (10 – 15 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.

FYI: Shown here for identification only, yet should it become available, care is similar to others in this genus.

Lives in burrows with the snapping shrimp Alpheus bellulus.
