Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Philippines to Tonga, north to Southern Japan, and south to Australia.

Size: 3 inches - 7 cm

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal sand flats, sloped areas, and seagrass areas and usually found at depths between 30 –130 feet (10 – 40 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
