Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Papua New Guinea to New Caledonia.
Size: 3 inches (7 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rubble areas on sloping inshore reefs and usually found at depths between 10 –85 feet (3 – 25 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.
General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
