Nocturnal Goby

Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea and Persian Gulf, Maldives, also the Pacific Ocean: Philippines to the Tuamotu Islands, north to Yaeyama Islands, and south to the Great Barrier Reef and Guam in Micronesia.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits muddy and fine sand bottom areas in inshore bays and lagoons, and usually found at depths between 3 -100 feet (1 - 30 m) where it feeds algae and small invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
