Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Natal, South Africa and Madagascar to Hawaiian Islands, north to Southern Japan and south to the southern Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabit gorgonian seawhips such as Juncella fragilis and J. juncea, and possibly Ellisella maculata and usually found at depths between 3 –100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds upon zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
