Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Saudi Arabia, Oman, Mauritius, and Kenya east to Indonesia and Japan.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rubble covered areas and usually found at depths between 6 – 100 feet (2 – 30 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
