Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to the Tuamotu Islands, north to Southern Japan, and south to Lord Howe Island.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits tidal reef flats and shallow lagoons where sand and rubble collect and usually found at depths between 3 – 85 feet (1 – 25 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
