Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Java, and Indonesia to Papua New Guinea and Palau in Micronesia.

Size: 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore-protected sandy areas where it lives with Alpheid/pistol shrimp and usually found at depths between 3 – 40 feet (1 – 12 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
