Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits course gravel bottom areas near reefs and lives with Alpheid/pistol shrimp and usually found at depths between 3 – 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
