Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Moluccas to Papua New Guinea, north to Southern Japan, and south to Rowley Shoals.

Size: 1 inch (2 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits silty sheltered reef areas and usually is associated with Heliofungia actiniformis. Usually found at depths between 10 – 65 feet (3 – 20 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
