Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Persian Gulf and Red Sea to Samoa, and north to Southern Japan, and south to the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 1 inch (2 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits branching coral areas in local lagoons and usually found at depths between 3– 130 feet (1 – 40 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
