Range: Western Indian Ocean: Mauritius and Madagascar.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy bottom areas near reefs and usually found at depths between 3– 15 feet (1 – 5 m) where it feeds on zooplankton and small crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not yet collected for the trade.
