Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea and East Africa to Marshall Islands, north to Southern Japan and south to the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy bottom of caves in seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 30 – 85 feet (10 – 25 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
