Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Taiwan, Philippines to Fiji, north to Taiwan, and south to northwestern Australia.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy areas in protected lagoons and usually found at depths between 3 – 30 feet (1 – 10 m) where it turns over upper sediments in search of benthic crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
