Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Philippines and Indonesia, east to Fiji and the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow sandy areas in protected lagoons and usually found at depths between 3 – 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it turns over upper sediments in search of benthic crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
