Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Aliwal Shoal, South Africa northeast to Papua New Guinea.

Size: 2 inch (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits reef areas on and around corals and sponges and often seen on Dendronephthya and Sarcophyton soft corals. Usually found at depths between 15 to 200 feet (5 – 60 m) where it feeds on zooplankton and coral mucus.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
