Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to Johnston Island and Pitcairn, north to Japan and south to Australia.

Size: 1 inch (2 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves and crevices on shallow coral reefs and usually seen at depths between 6 to 100 feet (2 – 30 m) where it feeds on tiny benthic invertebrates and zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
