Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Philippines to Southern Japan.

Size: 3 inches (7 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits areas of rock, rubble and sand in coastal reefs and usually found at depths between 40 - 100 feet (12 - 30 m) where it feeds by sifting mouthfuls of sand to capture small invertebrates and organic matter.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.

FYI: Shown here for identification only, yet should it become available, aquarium husbandry would be similar to V. helsdingenii.
