Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Taiwan south to Celebes, Indonesia, and south to Western Australia.
Size: 3 inches (8 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits bottom areas on rocky reefs and can be found singly at depths between 300 to 800 feet (90 – 240 m), where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.
General Husbandry: Has a mottled reddish body. Not collected for the trade.
