Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Bahamas to Argentina.

Size: 48 inches (120 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits mangroves and coral reef areas and usually found at depths between 3 – 85 feet (1 – 25 m) where it feeds mainly on algae.

General Husbandry: Colors vary between sexes and its stage of growth (phase). Not collected for the trade.
