Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Northern Red Sea, east to Indonesia, New Guinea, and Solomon Islands, and south to Queensland Australia.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits seagrass beds on reef flats, and often found on algae covered rubble areas on reef faces, and found at depths between 3 - 80 feet (1 - 25 m) where it feeds strictly on benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Has a mottled tannish body, with filamentous growths along the body.
