Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: southern Florida, Bahamas to northern South America.

Size: 15 inches (37 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rubble areas adjacent to seagrass beds and usually found at depths between 6 to 40 feet (2 - 12 m) where it feeds mainly at night on benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
