Range: Southwest Atlantic Ocean: Venezuela to Argentina, including Trinidad.

Size: 10 inches (25 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rubble areas adjacent to seagrass beds and usually found at depths between 10 to 600 feet (3 - 180 m) where it feeds mainly at night on benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
