Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, and Ogasawara Islands.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal tidepools and shallow reef areas and usually found at depths between 3 to 100 feet (1 - 30 m) where it feeds mainly on benthic invertebrate and some algae.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
