Range: Western Indian Ocean: Endemic to the Red Sea.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves in coral reefs and usually found at depths between 6 to 100 feet (2 - 30 m) where it feeds mainly on benthic invertebrate and some algae.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
