Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Endemic to the Hawaiian Islands.
Size: 4 inches (10 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits crevices and ledges on shallow reefs and is usually found at depths between 3 to 35 feet (1 – 10 m) and basically feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.
General Husbandry: Has mottled brownish to reddish body. Not purposely collected for the trade.
