Range: Cosmopolitan: Western and Eastern Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean; Indo-Pacific Ocean and Mediterranean.

Size: 12 feet (365)

Natural Environment: A deep-water species yet comes close to shore occasionally.

General Husbandry: Shown here for identification only.

Feeds on bony fishes, other sharks, turtles, sea birds, squid, and anything else including humans and their garbage.

FYI: An active species and one only public aquarium's can properly maintain in captivity.
