Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Queensland Australia and New Zealand.

Size: 5.5 feet - 1.7 m

Natural Environment: Inhabits areas from the continental shelf to shallow coastal intertidal waters and usually found at depths between 20 to 900 feet (6 - 275 m) where it feeds on small fishes, shrimp, worms, crabs urchins, and other crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
