Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Arabian Sea to Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea and north to Japan.

Size: 30 inches (75 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore areas, especially estuaries, and usually found at depths between 15 to 300 feet (5 - 90 m) where it feeds on small fishes, shrimp, worms, crabs and other crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
