Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Andaman Sea to Indonesia, north to Southern Japan, and south to northeastern Australia, and the Solomon Islands.

Size: 9 inches (23 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sheltered coastal reefs and seen over sandy and muddy bottoms and usually found at depths between 10 - 200 feet (3 - 60 m) where it feeds upon small fishes and benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.

FYI: Shown here for identification only. Should it become available, aquarium husbandry is similar to that of S. bilineata.
