Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Andaman Sea, Southern Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

Size: 10 inches (25 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sheltered coastal reefs and found over sandy and silty bottom areas, sometimes near mangrove areas, and usually seen at depths between 6 - 85 feet (2 - 25 m) where it feeds upon small fishes and benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.

FYI: Shown here for identification only. Should it become available, aquarium husbandry is similar to that of S. bilineata.
