Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Maldives to northwestern Australia and the Solomon Islands.

Size: 9 inches (22 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sheltered coastal reefs near collections of rubble and usually found at depths between 50 - 150 feet (15 - 45 m) where it feeds upon small fishes and benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
