Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Papua New Guinea and the Philippines, south to Northeastern Australia and the Solomon Islands.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rubble bottom areas near coral reefs and usually found at depths between 30 - 200 feet (10 - 60 m) where it feeds upon small fishes and benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
