Range: Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf to southern Oman and southern Iran.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits deep reef slopes and found at depths between 50 – 200 feet (15 – 60 m) where it feeds on zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
