Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Mauritius to Fiji, north to Southern Japan, south to Western Australia and Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow coral reefs and sometimes found in weedy reef areas and usually found at depths between 3 – 85 feet (1 – 25 m) where it feeds on zooplankton and benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
