Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Bahamas to northern South America.

Size: 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef sandy and rubble areas, yet remains mostly high in the water column and usually found at depths between 15 – 85 feet (5 – 25 m) where it feeds mainly on small benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
