Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Bahamas and to Brazil.

Size: 8 inches (20 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits seagrass beds in lagoons and usually found at depths between 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it feeds mainly on small benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
