Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Gulf of Oman to the Philippines, and also Australia.

Size: 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal slopes to outer reef lagoons and usually found at depths between 15 – 250 feet (5 – 75 m) where it feeds on zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not purposely collected for the trade.
