Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea and East Africa to Papua New Guinea, and south to Lord Howe Island.

Size: 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy reef flats and lagoons and usually found at depths between 10 – 65 feet (3 – 20 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
