Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to the Pitcairn Group, north to Southern Japan, and south to Tonga and Rapa Islands.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef flats and usually found at depths between 3 – 30 feet (1 – 10 m) where it feeds on crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
