Likely Fish-Only Tank Suitable

Range: Tropical Western Atlantic Ocean: Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico to Brazil.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow bays, lagoons, various waterways, and backreef areas.

Aquarium Suitability: Sometimes arrives on rock imported from Florida or the Caribbean and is generally easy to maintain under moderate light. But because of its thin feather-like thalli, not among the more popular aquarium species.
