Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to American Samoa and Tuamotu Archipelago, south to Australia.

Size: 4 inches (9 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves on rocky reefs and is usually found at depths between 10 – 150 feet (3 – 45 m) where it feeds mainly on crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has orange tannish body. Not collected for the trade.
