Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean.

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal intertidal areas to depths of about 200 feet (60 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Rarely seen in the trade, and in fact its delicate slow-growing branching growth is quite nice for reef aquariums when available. Requires bright light, moderate water movement, and well balanced seawater parameters, especially that of calcium and magnesium.
