Natural Environment: Inhabits nutrient rich tidepools and shallow lagoons, and sometimes found on outer reef slopes.

General Husbandry: Has many different color forms, including reddish brown to green with a mouth that is conical and raised from the surface.

Requires slow water movement and moderate lighting, preferably shade.

May accept feedings of microplankton foods, and/or newly hatched brine shrimp.
