Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Bermuda, and Caribbean.

Natural Environment: Inhabits inner and outer reefs, reef crests, and sandy lagoons and can attain 3 foot (1 m) heights and usually seen in depths between 50 to 65 feet (15 - 20 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Slimy to the touch and not collected for the trade.
