Natural Environment: Inhabits protected lagoons and usually seen at depths between 15 to 85 feet (5 - 25 m).

FYI: In the wild, has a cluster-like growth and usually darkish reddish brown with pale branch tips, yet also seen in various colors of blue, purple and green, all with pale branch tips.
