Range: Indian Ocean: Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, southwest and northern Indian Ocean and possibly the Philippines.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow patch reefs and usually seen at depths between 10 to 50 feet (3 - 15 m).

General Husbandry: See Acropora abrolhosensis for suggested aquarium husbandry, except for swifter water movement - WM 3 and brighter light, PAR 450+.

FYI: In the wild, has a sturdy branching growth that is usually somewhat pinkish brown or brown.

Cultured specimens exist in the trade that exhibit bright colors, therefore ask under what PAR conditions it was grown in, so you may continue to see it maintain its health/colors!
