Range: Central Pacific Ocean

Natural Environment: Inhabits protected shallow reef slopes and lagoons and generally seen at depths between 10 to 50 feet (3 - 15 m).

FYI: In the wild, has a sturdy branching growth and usually brown or blue.

Cultured specimens exist in the trade that exhibit bright colors, therefore ask under what PAR conditions it was grown in, so you may continue to see it maintain its health/colors!
