Range: Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, East Africa, Red Sea, Eastern Pacific (USA to upper South America).

Natural Environment: Inhabits walls and/or under overhangs and usually seen at depths between 6 - 100 feet (2 - 30 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the trade.
